Amount that the economy may lose from 2009 to 2013 because of delays in dispute resolution, caused by cuts in court budgets: $52.2 billion

According to an article in Bloomberg Businessweek, by Peter S. Green,  “A study conducted by [the Micronomics consulting firm] showed that from 2009 through 2013, delays in dispute resolution may cost the U.S. $52.2 billion in lost economic output.”
